To be honest, I am not a huge fan of her debut single. However, I am a huge fan of her as an actress and a model. I adore the only copy of Seventeen magazine I was able to pick up while I was in Japan. My favorite from Seventeen is of course Takei Emi, but I am also quite fond of Kiritani Mirei. Both are set to appear in live action films that I'm excited for. I am rewatching her appearance on VS Arashi, and oh jeez is she an adorable firecracker!
I got her photobook when I was in Japan. She is rather pretty.
But I was rather disappointed with the plot of Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta.
That show kept promising scandal and drama, but always backed down. No one really fought over the fellow, they just postured and wimped out. Then there was the horrible fake out on the main scandal.
Still, Takei was pretty enough to keep me watching.
Personally, I think that the drama would have more disappointing if they just made them fight over Shuji. I'm glad that there was such a turn of events since the story told was quite different from the typical which is refreshing.
While it would not have been terribly progressive for the women to try and destroy each other over fighting for a fellow, at least it would have been interesting.
I found the events of the story a little dull, while the action that was not followed through on- sexual scandal, destroying your enemies to get your fellow- would have amde a more lively story.
Sorry Todd, but I was thoroughly entertained. I do, now that I think about it, like the fact that it doesn't follow the typical pattern. Reminds me a bit of The Scarlet Letter.
